Group Cart Invite Preview

Reads an invite before anyone commits to it — what a guest sees on the "Alex invited you to order from …" screen.

It takes the raw invite_token, works without a signed-in customer, and deliberately returns a slim view: the store name, the host's display name and the session status. No roster, no invite token, no cart.

A 200 does not mean the invite is usable. A locked, cancelled or expired session still returns 200 here; check status and expires_at yourself and let Group Cart Join be the authority.

Query Parameters

  • The invite token from the host's share link

Headers

  • White Label Application Key

  • Version of the API that the client app expects

Responses

  • application/json
  • 1205 unknown or malformed invite token

  • The token query parameter is missing or the wrong length.
