User Acquisition Via eClub
Many businesses like to start engaging with their guests immediately, or even engage with potential guests to let them know about the business and what it can offer to them. eClub is one of many channels that make this possible.
Once enabled, the Guests > eClub Guests module in the Punchh platform can be used to onboard guests in two ways:

Use the eClub Guest Upload API
Once a guest's details are received in the system, an account gets created for the guest with the eClub tag. This allows the business to send out emails to their eClub guests, offering them coupons and engaging with them in order to convert them to loyalty. They can either target specific lists using the eClub Guests segment or create a segment choosing the User type with attributes such as zip code, age group, favorite location, email domain, or incomplete profile.
When a guest is finally onboarded into the system through any of the loyalty channels (e.g., app, iFrame, POS), then account takeover happens and the newly created account is merged with the eClub account, with the loyalty tag added to the existing eClub tag.
